This seminar will help you become proficient on the current HUD HCV Homeownership guidelines. You will learn about guidelines and options to implement and manage a successful HCV Homeownership program in your area; accurately determine family eligibility, verification requirements and hands on case studies to accurately determine assistance calculations; learn ways to improve your programs by integrating with Family Self Sufficiency and other homeownership initiatives; learn how to develop the necessary partnerships to succeed; examine examples of best practices for programs, partnerships, lender requirements, counseling, policies, and methods to avoid pitfalls in poor implementation or loss of valuable resources; gain an understanding of the mortgage lending process and the interface with the program, and obtain quality assurance forms and techniques to make sure your operation can meet RIM requirements.

The seminar will also cover HCV Homeownership requirements and assistance for the special needs population such as the elderly or disabled. This training was developed by D L Morgan and Associates, one of the leading national experts on HUD Homeownership.
